And here's a long speech!

I've been going through a lot of studying and nerdy things around audio production in general, and it feels really good because it somehow combines three of the things that I really like - music, technology, and physics. Especially music. It's pretty tough starting from scratch now, but hey, if everything was easy, then everyone would be professionals, right?

So yup, in this audio production stuff, there's a lot of crap to study - synthesis, effects, arpeggio, mastering especially, and it gets irritating at times, but I know that it's all going to be worth it.

So yah, the process of growing up - maturity in terms of technicality and musicality...it's definitely tough. It's a constant clash between your desires to do well and the desires to be yourself. Identity becomes something that sits on a thread. You want to be yourself and do nothing great, but maturity has granted you so many dumb aspirations that you discard your identity for it - you face lots of insecurity and the part of you that wants you to be normal surfaces many times.

I guess the perfect resolution would be to accept an identity that's still you - you don't drop your ambitions, but you don't lose yourself. I guess that's how it works, eh :p

So that's what this EP is really about. Ever since I released Simplicity, I pledged to experiment with every style of electronic music there was. Even the more "elusive" ones like DnB, breakcore, and glitch - I'll have some trouble with later. This little EP represents the first part of the experiment - I'm kinda still in my comfort zone, I guess. Moving outwards, but doing good :)
